My Main Contributions

  • Wrote and implemented episodic, character-driven cutscenes for a live-service mobile game, balancing emotion, humour, and pacing within weekly Live Ops constraints
     

  • Owned seasonal narrative events from concept to release, including Green Game Jam content, ensuring strong character voice, canon consistency, and player engagement
     

  • Enhanced storytelling through non-verbal and environmental narrative, elevating In-Between Cutscenes and moment-to-moment emotional beats

Overview: A branching sci-fi interactive fiction game. Players are dropped into an alien world with no knowledge of who they are, where they are, or why. Player choice determines how they uncover these answers, navigate the world and complete their mission.

My Main Contributions

  • Authored a branching sci-fi narrative in Twine, managing interconnected story paths and player choice.
     

  • Designed player-led discovery and environmental storytelling to control pacing and tone.
     

  • Ensured narrative consistency across all branches through careful tracking of story state and player knowledge.

Overview: Anti-8 is a fast-paced, two-player board game in which rival arachnologists brave the wilderness simultaneously to capture deadly spiders and claim scientific glory before time runs out.


My Main Contributions

  • Designed a family-friendly board game where mechanics are directly inspired by real-world spider biology.
     

  • Wrote clear, accessible rules for children (6/7+), using mechanics and visuals as storytelling tools.
     

  • Embedded educational narrative and facts into gameplay, blending competition, learning, and replayability.
     

  • Led solo development, including playtesting, balancing, and project management from concept to completion.

Overview: The winning submission for the Into Games’ Narrative Design Award. The brief asked for a piece written about the Ancient Greek God Zeus, gloating to another God how he tricked a mortal. The brief wanted to know what that other God’s response was.

Synopsis: Take a peek through the window of time at Zeus and Hera, King and Queen of the Ancient Greek Gods, as they have an interesting conversation over a game of chess.

My Roles: Narrative Designer, Producer, and Animator

I conceived the core narrative and gameplay concept of a young girl navigating her world by shrinking and enlarging objects, using scale as both a mechanical and storytelling device. I defined the project’s scope and narrative structure, outlining each scene to ensure gameplay progression, emotional beats, and environmental storytelling aligned across the team.
