Overview: A narrative-driven merge2 cosy mystery mobile game. Merge items, complete orders, and earn coins to re-do your family's café while uncovering deep secrets and storylines.

My Main Contributions

  • Owned the creation and delivery of live-service narrative content, combining writing, visual storytelling, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ship emotionally resonant story beats on a weekly cadence.
     

  • Game Design: Player research, system and feature ideation, meta design, retention aid, UX improvements

Overview: A single-player, story-driven adventure exploring friendship, segregation, and identity through a world divided by jazz and blues music.

My Main Contributions

  • Designed and built core gameplay in Unity, including mechanics, levels, puzzles, and environmental storytelling
     

  • Created the full narrative: script, cutscenes, character profiles, codices, and narrative direction
     

  • Led voice-over production, including casting, directing, editing, and implementation
     

  • Developed visual concepts and storyboards; edited trailers and implemented levels in Unity

Overview: A 2D top-down pixel-art adventure demo built in Unity, focused on exploration and puzzle-solving, created in two weeks as a hands-on game design and technical challenge I tasked myself with.

My Main Contributions

  • Designed and built the full game solo in Unity, including mechanics, levels, puzzles, and scripting
     

  • Created a minimal narrative to focus on game and narrative design
     

  • Designed and implemented puzzle gameplay, including jigsaw-style and merge mechanics

Anti-8 (solo boardgame)

Overview: Anti-8 is a fast-paced, two-player board game in which rival arachnologists brave the wilderness simultaneously to capture deadly spiders and claim scientific glory before time runs out.


My Main Contributions

  • Designed a family-friendly board game where mechanics are directly inspired by real-world spider biology.
     

  • Wrote clear, accessible rules for children (6/7+), using mechanics and visuals as storytelling tools.
     

  • Embedded educational narrative and facts into gameplay, blending competition, learning, and replayability.
     

  • Led solo development, including playtesting, balancing, and project management from concept to completion.

Wonzie World

Overview: Wonzie World is a two-player, family-friendly cooperative game for PC, Mac, and Android, built around simple controls, playful challenge, and replayable levels.

My Main Contributions

  • Ran structured co-op playtests, recording gameplay and analysing player behaviour, friction points, and overall experience.

  • Identified, reproduced, and documented bugs through edge-case testing, providing clear repro steps and visual evidence.

  • Conducted exploratory and regression testing, alongside player-focused UX and gameplay feedback to improve clarity, flow, and accessibility.

Sole Sweep

Overview: A 2D puzzle platformer made for the Women in Games Jam 2021.

Theme: 'Atmospheres'

Duration: 6 days

My Roles: Game and Level Designer.

I pitched the idea of a middle-aged female protagonist whose job is to repair planetary atmospheres. From that concept, I designed the core mechanics and three level concepts, each inspired by a different atmospheric layer and centred around restoring a vital resource: water, sunlight, or oxygen. While only one level was fully implemented, this structure shaped the game’s puzzles, narrative direction, and art style.
